A Ferociously Thrilling Finale
The final scene is always dramatic. But never more so than when the curtain closes on V12 Vantage Roadster. We’re bowing out in the typically untypical style of the bloodline, with an ear-splitting, bone-rattling roar. An open-air theatre of unprecedented performance. 700PS. A 5.2-litre Twin Turbo engine. The most powerful 12-cylinder engine that has ever, and will ever, be fitted to a Vantage. Deepening the driver interaction. Talking the torque up to 753Nm. With every other area, from the aerodynamics and design, to the chassis and the brakes, redefined and re-engineered to meet its fiercely unprecedented highs. This is the thunderous parting shot of a hero, unique in its potency, presence, dynamism. And thrill.
Synapse Spiking Scintillation
The most powerful and most dynamically capable V12 Vantage ever. Framing the fastest and fiercest of 12-cylinder engines, in a rare work of engineering art. 5.2 litres. Twin Turbo. 753 Nm of torque. V12 Vantage was always preordained to become the ultimate expression of the Aston Martin pedigree. A car that pushes its (and your) boundaries to the limit. And beyond. And beyond. And beyond. Maximising every particle of performance, this latest incarnation of an icon lifts the roof off its limits to provide a fittingly unforgettable farewell.
Heartbeat Racing On All 12 Cylinders
Vantage has been fitted with turbocharged engines and V12 engines before. But never both, at once. Until now. Which equals a rarely equalled 700PS, a top speed of 200mph, and 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds.
Never Leave Quietly
These numbers are just a scratch on the surface of a scintillating story. Add to them the highest levels of driving dynamics, head spinning torque and optimised transmission calibration that minimises shift speeds and maximises driver interaction. Then keep adding. Bespoke tuning for its adaptive dampers to improve its already incredibly smooth suspension hardware. Twin-exit exhausts forged from an almost impossible 1mm of stainless steel. A further lightweight option trimming 8kg of unsprung mass. It all starts to sound quite sensational.

Learning From Every Millimetre Of Road
V12 Vantage has a dynamically enriched transmission. The eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox has been tuned specifically to the complex character of the car. Employing bespoke software to ensure fast and dynamic gear shifting, coupled with refinement and usability past the possibilities of a conventional double clutch. With every millimetre between its tyres, it learns more about the road conditions. Meaning it’s always in the right gear at the right time. Ready, set, poised to thrill.
Slipstream Sculpting
Hair-raising, air-curving, slipstream sculpting aerodynamics. From the moment the atmosphere enters the front grille until the instant it’s expelled through the optional rear wing, the V12 Vantage Roadster bends the airflow to its whims. Siphoning and funnelling it to meet a range of requirements. From providing cooling to the engine and brakes needed to dispel their own heat, to supplying the 216kg of downforce with the optional aero wing required to keep the car glued to the road at 200 miles an hour.
Perfection, Cornered
Supremely capable around corners. With driving dynamics like no other. V12 Vantage Roadster comes with a wider track, front and rear stiffer springs, and re-rated anti-roll bars. New adaptive dampers with bespoke tuning bring a new speed of smooth to the supremely harmonious V12 suspension hardware. Providing precise control at the apex of a fast turn, as well as effortless comfort and ride quality over longer distances. While building on the unique steering calibration of the entire V12 Vantage, designed to improve feel and driver feedback, tightening the bond between the driver and the car.
The Core Strength Of A Heavyweight
A car is only as strong as the structure that supports it. The more dynamic the car, the more structurally rigid it must be. Which is why we’ve re-engineered V12 Vantage to its very core. Adding new shear panels to the front and rear, bracing the fuel tank, and stiffening the suspension with a strut brace between the rear towers, which is clearly visible in the luggage compartment. V12 Vantage is created on the stiffest, most structurally sound Vantage platform to date.
410mm Of Heart Stopping, Stopping Power
With great power comes immense stopping ability. Six piston calipers at the front, carbon-ceramic discs, as standard, 410mm in diameter. The largest brakes ever fitted to a Vantage. So resistant to fade that, even with a disc temperature of 800°C, they don’t shed their ability to shed speed. While their carbon-ceramic construction reduces unsprung mass by 23kg at your feet, improving the sensitivity and steering of the car in your hands.
Pulse Raising Poise
200 Miles An Hour Of Soul-Stealing Sculpture
40mm wider. With a broader muscularity, cut with dramatically honed aerodynamic detailing. From every angle, the aesthetic of V12 Vantage has been sculpted to be even more striking and uncompromising than any previous incarnation. The wider track and new front splitter visually lower than the car, while the horseshoe bonnet vent and new side sills speak breathe power through every pore. But it’s perhaps the rear of the car that is the most arresting, with its central exhausts, new diffuser and downforce-enhancing wing. Cast extensively in carbon-fibre, its unflinching form and function are indivisible, colluding to create a car of unforgettable presence, purpose and performance thrills.
21-Inch Wheels
21-inch alloy wheels add an impressive finish to the silhouette. Available in two styles. Y-spoke, forged aluminium, offered in full Satin Black or Satin Black with Diamond Turned Finished. Or a lightweight option, offered with the same two finishes, trimming unsprung mass by 8kg to improve the responsiveness of the car in your hands.
Diffuser Vent
The reshaped, more accentuated rear diffuser works in conjunction with the rear wing and careful faceting of the floor of the car to keep it physically grounded to the road’s surface. As speed increases, it ensures aerodynamic balance is maintained, delivering high-speed stability and ultimate performance.
One Of 249 One-Of-A-Kinds
The interior of V12 Vantage has been subtly, yet unmistakeably refined to provide the best seat in the house. A uniquely calm command centre. The standard lightweight Sports Plus Seat is trimmed in exquisite semi-aniline leather with the iconic Aston Martin wings embroidered into the headrest. Those who want to go further still, both in look and weight-reduction, can choose our motorsport-inspired, ultra-light, carbon-fibre high performance seat with six-way manual adjustment and exposed carbon-fibre twill shell.
And then: there are the details. The sumptuous sill plaques provide a permanent reminder that yours is one of only 249 that will ever be built. While the chrome Vantage V12 logo beneath the start/stop button speaks to the power and heritage of this dramatic denouement to such a coveted line of Aston Martins.
On The Edge Of Your Racing Seat
Offered as standard, the Halo Sports Plus Seat, lines your spine with full semi-aniline leather, to crown the cockpit of the V12 Vantage. For ultimate command, a new lightweight, patented carbon-fibre performance seat with exposed twill carbon-fibre can also be selected, saving a further 7.3kg, without trimming anything from the comfort.
Raise The Roof And Command An Audience
Open the z-fold roof in a mere 6.7 seconds. Or pop open the tailgate, and watched people’s eyes do the same. Spanning the width of the open load area between the towers is a unique strut race, framing 200 litres of boot space. Drawing the eye to the details of how the chassis has been stiffened to match the extreme pressures of its elevated performance.
A Thrilling Bloodline, From First To Last
2007 saw the stunning RS concept fitted with a V12 from the DBRS9 GT3 racing car, delivering around 550bhp. The car was an immediate and universal success, and the first V12 Vantage went into production just two years later. With 510bhp and a 190mph top speed, it offered a new level of performance and excitement for discerning Aston Martin customers. Little more than two months after its launch, the V12 Vantage won its class at the fearsome Nürburgring 24 Hours race.
It was perhaps inevitable that a fully race-honed version should result. In 2012 the V12 Vantage GT3 made its debut with a career would last seven seasons and net four British GT Championships in the UK alone.
The following year, the substantially uprated V12 Vantage S Coupe and Roadster were announced with a 565bhp engine, making it Aston Martin's fastest series production so far. This was followed by a series of ultra-exclusive limited-edition cars, including the GT3-inspired 100-off Vantage GT12 of 2015 and the similarly exclusive V12 Vantage AMR of 2017.
